LUCKNOW: Just carefully, once again watch the world around you. Every successful person has always worked in the field of his talent and has achieved infinite successes while every unsuccessful person is struggling for his bread and butter in the field of work against his natural talent. I tell you again, recognize your talent because your success is going to get out of that point. Always remember a rule –
“Success can never be overcome from outside because success always blossomed inside you and your natural and God-given talent is inside you only.”
When you recognize your talent and get ready to form a new dimension of success in the same area, the identity of time also emerges as a key factor in success. To explain this point, I want to share of my stories with you. I had a meeting with a very senior bank official for new job prospects for my firm. In my profile details, seeing every major bank, financial institution and established real estate business houses in the city, he asked me, “You are already working for so many people.
How can you get time for my institution? “I said very politely,” Sir! You are an extremely high official of this organization. When you have a desire to take tea, how much time do you spend making tea? “He said,” Well, why would I make tea? For it, I have my lower staff. Then I said,” Excuse me, sir, how much time do you spend on opening the account when a new customer comes to open his account in your bank?” He replied, “There are a lot of clerks and officers in our bank for such a task.” I finally asked again, “Well, tell me that when the customers of your bank have a transactions through your bank, then in how much time you make entries of such transactions in the accounts, or in how much time, you prepare yourself demand drafts or fixed receipts for the customer according to their needs?” This time he appeared with tantrums and said in a loud voice, “You talk rashly.
All these works are done by my lower staff, and I have to take decisions at the higher level and implement them.” I smiled and said,” Sir! You have answered your question on your own. Please forgive me but there was not a better execution with me to prove your usefulness to your organization. Your organization has given you the responsibility of editing the work according to your merit, and this is your productive time for your organization, and the ordinary staff is working for the rest of the general and lower work.
I also work only according to my qualifications, and that is my productive time for my establishment, and I always try to increase my productive time, and I have ordinary staff for simple tasks. In my view, though, the task of carrying or bringing a file from your office is necessary, but if I do this myself, I will destroy my productive time so that I have ordinary staff for these tasks. My job is to study that file and give proper legal advice to it and for that, I have to write the legal points in the margins only, which will be given extension and typed by some other ordinary staff and thus I will again save my time to perform a new productive work.
My usefulness to your organization is my legal advice, and you pay me accordingly, not for carrying or type a file, so why I should destroy my productive time in moving or typing or preparing your files. Although all of these works are necessary to complete one task from the beginning to the end, and that is why, I divide the working chain according to importance and productivity of the work and I always keep myself safe for the highest productivity.” What happened after that? I am sure you have rightly guessed. I was given full faith in the work of that institution, and another big name was added to the list of my clients.
